This Masterclass will feature Philip Duffy, Executive Director of Community & Foundation, at Everton Club. Delegates attending will learn about how one major club makes a difference in their local community by developing and delivering programmes to support locals in some areas that could include healthy living, social inclusion, education, and training in sport. Attendees will also explore how clubs engage the community as a whole, including recruiting and utilising volunteers to deliver on their objectives. The speaker will also touch on how the club measures its success and sustainability in these initiatives, in order to continue the work they do year after year. The session will include two presentations from the speaker, while delegates will also be asked to participate in two interactive workshops designed to allow attendees to put lessons learned to practice.
